Surrounded by lush cedar forests on the base of Castle Mountain, this beautiful area in the newest development in Fernie faces the magnificent Lizard Mountain Range and the Fernie Alpine Resort. The unit itself is brand new and is tastefully decorated with real knotty pine highlights throughout. 13 guests can easily be accommodated in its 4 bedrooms and a pullout. The master bedroom, located in the loft, with a queen-sized bed, has a 3-piece ensuite and offers large closets, a private phone, and a quite reading area. On the main floor there is a queen-sized bedroom next to a 1/2 sized bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful living room. The main level is a very unique, as the kitchen offers large golden pine cabinetry wrapped around new appliances and has seating up to 8 in the adjacent dining area. The living room is carefully decorated with old wooden skis, fly fishing rods, and other classic pieces creating a warm, comfy ambiance to sit around in while the natural gas fireplace warms your feet! Large sun filled windows surround the living room and kitchen creating an open and clean feeling.
If music and entertainment is an interest, the lower rustic level has a booming entertainment centre complete with TV/VCR, and a stereo with a CD player. Listen to your favorite tunes while relaxing in a bubbling hot tub and breathing in clean crisp Rocky Mountain air or a mouth watering aroma from the BBQ, located upstairs on the outside deck. What a perfect place to gather around with friends and some hot drinks and bask in the memories of the day gone by!
Once night falls, two additional bedrooms, located downstairs, cater to 8 people including the double futon in the den area where the entertainment centre is located. One bedroom has one queen-sized bed, as the second bedroom as a queen-sized bed next to a double/single bunk bed. Private laundry facilities are also located on this floor.
