With soft snow blanketed on the many cedars surrounding this beautiful, newly built mountain chalet, many find it hard to leave. As you enter, natural hardwood floors that lead to an island kitchen complete with new appliances and an enclosed pantry greet you. Meals are sure to be enjoyed in the dining room as it rests in front of the huge 20" window offering painting-like images of the natural surrounding. If you want to get a little closer, there is a private deck nestled outside for your enjoyment.
If you peer over the mezzanine to the den below you will realize that it is possible to ski from the top of the mountain right through you back door and land in front of a soothing gas fire place. Pour a Bailey’s and think what could be better! For those who love this idea, one of the couches here also converts into a bed and also there is a full 4-piece bath just a door away, as well as an 8 man outdoor hot tub.
How about sleeping in the lofted emperor sized master bedroom with king sized bed while staring out at Fernie's famous powder snow gently falling. This luxurious bedroom features a private deck hung high above the ground, a TV with a VCR, and a complete bathroom with his and her sinks, separate shower, and a 2 person Jacuzzi tub. If others want to experience what it is like to sleep in this paradise of a bedroom, there is also a convertible couch that can sleep an additional 2 guests.
Other sleeping options include a bedroom with a queen size bed with his and her closets while yet another bedroom offers sleeping in 2 single beds. Both rooms are large and well lit with sunshine.
All you need to do to enjoy Cedar Ridge #2 is park you car in your private heated garage to protect it from being buried in snow, and strap on your skis: the rest is pure fun.
